Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. I had to contact a Mobile RV Tech to diagnose and document the failure with pictures, provide a receipt from Amazon, and a Pic of the label on the awning itself.

I ended up buying a off brand motor for $150 from Amazon deliver within a week to allow me to retract my awning for storms and to have the ability to tow the trailer. I received it and works fine.

It is the exact same part, the housing even has the same casting stamps as the Dometic. The only difference is that there is no Dometic symbol on the housing that attached to the arm. I finally was able to get a positive response from Dometic by contacting a mobile RV Tech to diagnose/verify my motor being failed. That receipt, emailed to Dometic support, has initiated a replacement being mailed.

Now I have a spare that I really should not have to use if the parts are quality.The frustrating part is that the mobile tech diagnosing my issue is a $280 fee, where I am fully capable, and have the tools on hand to do this myself. But Dometic would not take my word or pictures as proof.

Last year in September, I purchased a replacement RV awning motor for a defective part on my RV (a 2020 model manufactured in 2019). I ordered my part through Amazon.com for $400, which has a 30-day return policy.

In the ad, they claimed a 1-year warranty that is through the manufacturer. The part lasted 10 months and now I am trying to get a replacement from Dometic. I have the digital receipt from Amazon for the purchase.

They are refusing to do anything for my issue, stating I didn't buy the part from them. Now I'm stuck at a campground with an awning that has no way of retracting without removing the whole unit, or (according to Dometic) buying a $500 motor from them or their dealer.

User's recommendation: Don't buy Dometic products, they are cheaply made, way overpriced and the company doesn't stand behind their products.

I have a CRX pro 6512 V refrigerator that seems to have a compressor. Problem is still under warranty. Is it true that Dometic will not honor warranty on 12 V refrigerator?

The alleged parts are ordered. I will continue waiting without toilets for another 2 weeks.

The parts for my other repairs haven't arrived. Also, my service advisor is going on vacation for a week today. Therefore, nothing will be done until Cheyenne gets back from vacation.

Or at least that's what happened at the Holiday and Fort Myers branch. 'When your service advisor is gone, nothing gets done.

Poor customer service, very unprofessional!

I was in need of help with a toilet that apparently had a known issue of raw sewage leaking into a compartment in the mid-section of the toilet due to a seal issue from the manufacturer. This affected a certain number of consumers within a certain serial number range.

I was told my unit was within these serial numbers, but it had been too long for them to offer a warranty replacement. WHAT!!! A known issue from the manufacturer isn't a warranty replacement; it's a recall on those units. The woman I spoke to was kind and transferred me to the escalations department, and boy, was I in for a treat!

Dolly, the escalations representative, let me speak fully, knowing she would shoot me down quickly. I was told that it was my fault that I didn't fix it within the three-year warranty period. I then asked for the corporate number and was rudely told to find it myself before she hung up on me!

What kind of service is that? It was the worst customer service I've ever had!

Preferred solution: I'd like a replacement of the 310 toilet and I would pay the difference with domestic obviously covering the cost of the faulty 300 toilet or just the new 300 toilet.

I have tried for 5 days to reach customer service. On hold for 15 minutes, then get disconnected.

I then tried the online chat to no avail. I tried contacting the corporate offices, again, to no avail. After 18 phone calls, it looks as if I will just have to call someone to come repair my water heater in my RV.

I was just looking for a starting point to fix it (I'm very handy) and have done all the tests recommended in the manual. This place is a joke!!!

Dometic bluetooth thermostats

Purchased a brand new RV with dometic Bluetooth capable thermostats and find out that Dometic no longer supports the app and has no Bluetooth app for its thermostats! Then WHY make them Bluetooth capable and mislead consumers?!

After numerous calls with dometic they finally offered to send me the replacement control panel i needed to fix my reverse cycle a/c. They refused to pay to have it installed though which has left me several hundred out of pocket.

This was the 2nd time in 10 months the control panel died making the unit unable to be used. The unit is 3 yrs and 4 months old.

Is this where "quality" is going now. My old unit lasted 12 years and only had to be replaced due to a hail storm.

I will buy a china knock off before i spend money with a sole claimed top notch quality company again At least I'll have sonmething left to pa for the repairs.

Bought a new Dometic reverse cycle 3 1/2 years ago and within 2 years the remote fell apart and the control panel died. Remote was replaced control panel was replaced and now 10 months later the control panel has died again.

I was told this morning I am out of warranty by 4 months. Now I'm facing a $850 bill to have it fixed.

I thought I bought a top of the line quality product. I guess I'm the fool.

Do not support their product

discontinued manufacturing essential spare part for their product - called dozens of parts distributors - Dometic INFAMOUSLY does not support their products - they recieve hundreds of similar calls looking for spare parts - not behind in supply chain... DISCONTINUED.

DOMETIC SUCKS!

Ist time out with new camper, 2nd shower no hot water. You know heater is faulty made, why would you sell thermal fuse in packs of 4?/10? Heating water, shuts it off???

Have tried for two days to get a hold of this business and cannot reach anyone without going through a lot of rigmarole. Its ridiculous.

All I wanna do is get a hinge part to my toilet lid series 300 actually 301 hinge parts. I have a broken toilet seat for a fifth wheel, what is so hard about that

I recently bought Domestic water heater for a trailer trailer, to replace my old one. My old Domestic Water heater is gas/electric model.

The new one is gas-only model. Question, should I only connect the 3 wires from the water heater for power?.
